COVID-19 Updates - We are Open & Taking Certain Measures to Continue Serving You

At the Detroit Garage, we are doing everything we can to prevent spread of COVID-19 while remaining open for business. Being that the government has deemed auto repair an essential service to the citizens and public, we want to do all that we can to assure that our employees are healthy and able to continue to work on your vehicles.

To ensure your safety and health here at our shop, we are not accepting any waiting customers in our lobby and encourage you to use our drop box service. Here's how to use this service: 

  • Please fill out a repair information envelope filling in the required spaces.
  • Be as descriptive as possible with the issues that you are having.
  • Insert your keys into the envelope and place in the mail slot on the door.
  • If you need transportation please call our number 248-545-0500 and we will set up an Uber at no charge to you.
  • We will get your keys and start our evaluation of your vehicle.
  • We will do all communications via text/email and or phone call.
  • When it is time to deliver your vehicle, we will do credit card over phone in which:
    • We will email you an authorization form
    • Complete the form and email back to us
  • We will put your car on the east side of our building
  • We will lock your keys in the lock box with your very own code to gain access to your belongings.
  • If you are paying cash, we will follow the same process as which we are dropping off vehicles, please let us know in advance if this is the case.
  • We are able to deliver your car and collect payment over the phone as well.

We apologize for the major inconvenience, but we must err on the side of caution for the health of all our customers and employees. Please do not hesitate to give us a call if you need more information.

We will also be offering FREE vehicle pickup and delivery during this time for those who are not able to leave their homes. We come out to you, pick up your vehicle, and bring it back into the shop for service. We will take payment and communicate with your regarding your vehicle via phone, email, and text. We will then drop your vehicle back off to you once everything is complete. 

To further assist during this difficult time, we are offering a 15% discount for Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Military, and Government Employees. Please call us for more information!
