A rough start with a very smooth ending. I have to admire the integrity of this business. I too am in business and often must make concessions to make sure my customer is pleased with my service; the dedication to that same end, shown by the entire crew at Hamburg Garage, was a refreshing experience. I cannot imagine the outcome had I taken my 2008 Sable to any dealership in our area. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

After picking up a new windshield washer line from the dealership, I took my car into Budget Brakes to have Chris and his crew install the parts. When I went to pick it up, he indicated the service was "on the house" and didn't charge me. I've been taking my family vehicles to Budget Brakes for a while and this only confirmed what I already knew. The team at Budget Brakes is second to none. The helped me out in a big way and earned a customer for life. I won't be going anywhere else for car repairs.

Friendly and knowledgeable auto service place

I've used these folks for 3 differing appointments since 11/1/2016. First two were minor, but needed. The last one was for in excess of $1700 worth of needed work . They did all the legwork involved in contacting / getting approvals for the work that was covered under my Extended Vehicle Warranty Contract in lickety-split time. Transport 'to and fro' for the third visit was provided and was much appreciated. At every point where I had a question, Ben, the service writer 'had it covered'. I must also commend 'Gary C.', the technician whose name is all over the 3rd work order. One minor 'go back' was required, but the correction was completed in under 20 minutes while I waited, their [supplied] coffee in hand. " What's not to like ? ",...said the Satisfied Customer.........

I DO NOT LIKE MECHANIC SHOPS. They are dirty and smelly. They speak another language, lingo I don't understand. They try to upsell at every opportunity. They give me anxiety attacks. BUT that is so not the case at Farmington. WOW! What a beautiful facility! A fireplace? What! Leather furniture and a rug? What! Not to mention the people there are so kind, so friendly. I went in because my car was getting very loud. My dealership guy told me that I needed to find a shop that would cobble together an exhaust for me. I went to a place on Telegraph. They said they would call on Monday with a quote. Never called. Went the Farmington after I was in awe of their facility at the Halloween trick-or-treating event in downtown Farmington that weekend. They got it. They got me. They knew my car was old and that I would be getting rid of it within a year, so they were fine with cobbling together the exhaust for me and at a totally reasonable price. They didn't try to upsell (spell check keeps writing "upset" - how appropriate) me in any way. They took me under my car to show me what they would be doing and used words I understood. I just love this place. Who wouldn't!

FOUND MY DEALERSHIP ALTERNATIVE!! Was on my way to the Audi dealer when I stopped at Farmington...and I'm glad I did! Nice to have an alternative to the dealership close to home where I don't feel overcharged and in the dark about what's going on. Everyone here went above and beyond to help solve my car troubles and explained everything in a way even I could understand.

Love this place. I show up when they open, explain my oil problem, they drive me to work, and then pick me up after and cars all done....and for a good price with friendly nice people.
