Top notch service with a really nice atmosphere. As you can see by the picture, the waiting area is really nice. They also provide refreshment and wifi free of charge. All of that is great, but what you really want are knowledgeable and honest technicians and service writers. As a former mechanic myself, I was pleasantly surprised. This is a place I can send my wife and not be worried she will be scammed. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I love the waiting area. Refreshments and wifi are available at no cost. All that stuff is great, but what really counts is honest and knowledgeable technicians and service writers that you can trust. As a former mechanic myself, I really appreciated the service I received

You gyus are very honest, humble and helpful. Even tough you had a chance to earn good amount money you advised me to go to dealership instead of working on my car to save my money. I really appreciate coming to your shop every time. I get the best service in town.

Guys! Is there a way to give 10 stars? It's clean, beautiful, and modern. Talking to the owner and staff is like talking to old friends. I am so wildly impressed with this place that I feel like I need to find more excuses to go in. Yes, I said that about a small town garage. This is the first time in my 13 years of driving that I went somewhere other than a dealership for service, and my experience could not have been better. Definitely found my new place.

It is great having a friendly, fair priced place to get everything from an oil change to complete auto repair. The owner even gave me a complimentary ride to my job while they worked on my car.

Andy is awesome, he answered my call on a holiday weekend and had me bring my truck in right away. He advised me not to drive it & provided a loaner car for the rest of the weekend. The problem was repaired within a day and a quote for recommended future repairs was provided without the high pressure sales pitch you get at a lot of places. I will definitely be going back for repairs & maintenance. Thank you so much for the great service!!

Thank you Shellee. Was a pleasure to meet you and your son. Glad "Mack" is back on the road!

Very disappointed in this shop. I've done business with them before and was pleased with their service. However, August 30th 2016, I took my 2001 Ford Econoline Van to them. I explained that as I was filling the van up with gas, it was leaking out underneath. I already knew what the problem was, that the filler neck fuel hose needed replaced. On older vehicles, they occasionally go bad and leak. I get a call that not only does my filler neck fuel hose needed replaced, but that I also needed a new gas tank. The cost for the job was $1,800.00. Wow! I ask why they thought I needed a new gas tank when it was fine. I was told he saw moisture from gas around the seams of the tank. I told him that was the result of the fuel leaking unto the tank from the hole that was in the filler neck. They thought otherwise. So, I took my van to Dan & Chuck Kar Kare at 6 mile at Inkster that same day. Sure enough, I ONLY NEEDED a filler neck fuel hose. The cost? $298.00. I know at times I might look like a sucker, but I try not to think like one. Very disappointed. Not ever planning on going back to Budget Brakes.

Mr Ellens, With all due respect I have to differ with you. My lead technician, who by the way is master certified, brought me out to your vehicle for my inspection. The way he determines if and where a fuel leak is, is with a smoke tester. What's a smoke tester? It's a very valuable piece of test equipment that allows us to visually see where a fuel leak is. Yes, your filler neck was leaking but so was your tank. If you had allowed us to bring the vehicle back in the shop to show you like we advised, you could have seen for yourself. If you don't want to come back to our establishment that's something that's probably best for all parties concerned. We don't need or want customers that want to compromise their repairs, especially when it comes to your fuel system. That stuff is flammable, and I don't want to be responsible for your life or others!!

Took my 2008 Dodge Caravan for stuck caliper. They diagnosed issue was a pinched break line, fixed. Then advised me my front struts, rear shocks and stabalizer bar needed replacement. Then tried to sell me on a trans flush, radiator flush, power steering flush. Long story short wanted over $3K to fix! Advised shop that i also had a clunking noise in right rear, they stated rear caliper needed to be replaced. Didn't price check and advised to fix struts, shocks and stabalizer, charged over $1.5K. Then a week later vehicle starts clunking and making a lot of noise, took to another mechanic and they never tightened my sway bar links!!! Plus mechanic at other shop advised if they would have completed repairs would have only been $800.00 out the door. The new Mecahnic fixed their errors as well as the rear clunking which was just a clip, not the whole caliper! $10.00 replacement!!!! Outrageous pricing and shady work. Will not go again.

Dear Mr. James Smith of Livonia, MI 48154 I’m very sorry to hear that you had a problem after your service visit to our facility. If you would have just contacted us we would have gladly repaired your complaint to your satisfaction. I’ve reviewed your repair order #0023073 and have inspected all the charges and this is what I have found. On your particular vehicle to install front struts the factory time shows 2.5 hours of labor per side, we only charged 2.35 hours of labor per side. You may not be aware of this, but to obtain access to the strut fasteners the entire front cowl assembly needs to be removed from the vehicle. As for the price of the struts, you received what is known as a quick strut. What this means is you received a new strut, strut mount with insulator and a new coil spring which brings your vehicle back to factory ride height and ride. The other items that were listed on your repair order were items that have been neglected in the past. Your vehicle, when in our facility, was 8.5 years old with 94,225 miles and had never had any fluid maintenance service performed. These items were recommended as normal service for any vehicle. It also listed tires in the estimate as being worn to the replacement level, as well as, a problem with an emission control device known as an EGR valve. When you add up all the necessary repairs and maintenance needed at one time, sometime it is shocking. This is why we prioritize listed service for customers, with the most important service first. After all, if you had issues with your vehicle wouldn’t you want your service provider to advise you of these problems? In conclusion allow me to say, after the fact price estimates aren’t as accurate as they may sound. Anybody can say that they could have done a repair, faster, cheaper……..choose any adjective you like. We take pride in offering quality service at a reasonable price while still offering a solid warranty with every repair. We also have a fleet of 5 loaner vehicles to accommodate every schedule. Please contact me personally if I can be of any further assistance. Joe Giniel (Owner) 734-522-7333
