A&H Transmission provided maintenance for my company trucks. They were friendly, reasonably priced, timely and took time to explain all the details of any problems the trucks had and made excellent recommendations. I would recommend highly A&H.

Thank you so much, Karleen!

I made an appointment to have an alignment done at 9:00 am. When we get there they told us it would be done that afternoon instead. We waited all day and we get back to pick it up they told us they refused to do the alignment because it needed: new ball joints, new tie rod ends, and possible a wheel bearing. They charged me $35 bucks for the diagnosis that I did not ask for. We took the car to another mechanic that I trust and he said there was no play in any of the parts they said the car need. These guys are RIP OF F!!! AND I STILL NEED AN ALIGNMENT!! RIP OFF CITY !!

Hello! Just wanted to let you know the shop is under new ownership. If there's anything we can ever do to help please let us know!

went in for an alignment after getting larger tires put on my jeep. the manager at the shop that did my tires had discount cards for alignments here. i set up an appointment and got in the next day at 345 and my vehicle was taken into their bay within 10 minutes. no other customers were inside or came in for about an hour after i arrived, just me and Cory behind the desk, who was very polite and i talked with him and another employee for awhile. i will admit their staff was very polite. while sitting in the lobby another mechanic walked in to ask Cory if there was anything to work on since he said he had nothing to do, including clean the shop which ill add was also very clean for a mechanic shop. i say this because i want to make clear it was very slow that day. after the better part of 2 hours comes, the guy i assume was the owner, i forget his name, older guy with glasses, calls me into the front office to tell me they didn't do the alignment because my adjustment sleeve was broke and the job couldn't be completed property. after asking to see the part in question i was walked back and saw the cracked sleeve. they said they found it that way after removing the clamp that was over top of the sleeve. now i'm not able to prove they may have accidentally broken it when trying to tighten or even loosen it, or if it was already broke, but i do know that the owner told me it was already like that before they had it. i found it a little hard to believe that after 1.5 hours with my vehicle back in the shop and on a slow day that it took them that long to find a broken sleeve on top of having performed no work on it as per the owners words. i will say that my vehicle is strictly used on paved roads and highways, no offroad use and that the steering setup was replaced almost 2 years ago shortly after i bought the vehicle. i don't know how long those sleeves are designed to last but i'll say it wasn't an aftermarket heavy duty setup, just a stock replacement. moving on, i was told i would now be looking at slightly more than double the cost of an alignment to fix the issue, just over $130.00, being told i wouldn't be charged for labor only the part needed. i was given a loaner for the night and told it would be ready the next day. i called around to a few jeep suppliers asking about the sleeve and breaking chance on them and got mixed reviews, some were surprised that it was broke so quickly while another had seen the issue before. no real supporting evidence there. i picked the jeep up the next day as promised and went on my way a bit upset i had to pay so much for an alignment. i got an email about a week later from AAA to rate my experience. i will say i was slightly harsher on that review and probably assumed things i stated as fact but beside the point. the same owner i delt with that day called me up to basically tell me in the nicest way he could to get bent and not return, after seeing my review. i told him i felt the entire ordeal was slightly suspicious with the work done, i didn't bother to mention to him my jeep still pulls to the right just as it did before i went in after a week of driving. the first few days were noticeably better but it quickly got back to pulling right. overall their staff was friendly minus the owner over the phone, the place was clean and the majority of customer reviews are very good, this is just my one and only experience with this place. i will stick with my usual mechanic that quoted an alignment for cheaper than this place did with a discount. maybe alignments just aren't their thing as i've seen other negative reviews regarding customer alignment jobs, but it's my word against theirs and there's really no chance of bothering to argue or fight them over this. best to bite the bullet and move on. i would recommend calling a few other shops around your area and getting estimates before making a decision.

BAD EXPERIENCE...BUYER BEWARE... A chubby guy named Chris (who smelled like dirty laundry) gave me an estimate for $900 to replace my front brakes. (This was after the inspection per comment below) He insisted that I needed more than just brakes and would give an additional figure once the job was torn down. Not having been born yesterday, I took my car and went on down the road to an HONEST shop where I had my brake job done for $150 and no additional work was needed. I am positive that all the good reviews on this site are bogus. I've spoken to several people and 8 out of the 10 had negative things to say about this establishment and the crook kids that run the business. STAY AWAY.

Dear anonymous reviewer.......if you won't share your name with me how can I possibly address your issue. We have a strict inspection practice here for everyone's safety. For you to say you were given a price before the inspection simply isn't an accurate description of our business practices. Not all vehicles are crated or driven equally, that being said , it's impossible to give you an estimate before the inspection. As the owner, if I can help you in the future please contact me personally at 734-522-7333 and ask for Joe Giniel.

I had a positive first experience at Hamburg. I chose them because they were so close to home but will go back because of the service. Cost was probably on the high end of what I expected but the repairs were done right the first time and the customer service was first rate.

These guys do a great job. You get honest work without getting ripped off. I refer a lot of people to Budget Brakes and have become to know the owner Chris really well. I take all 4 of the families cars to them. Great job guys.

Chris is nice but I felt that i was over-charged. I guess it was my own fault for not doing the research.

Mr. Kang......I'm sorry you felt buyers remorse after the brakes on your Sedona were completed. Unfortunately your vehicle also required the rear brake calipers to be replaced, which does in fact drive up the cost. I hope you will feel comfortable in knowing that your repair does come with a nationwide 2 years or 24,000 mile warranty. As the owner, if there's anything I can do for you in the future please contact me personally at 734-522-7333 and ask for Joe Giniel.

Finally found a place where we can take all our vehicles for service and that we can recommend to our friends. We've had an alignment, brakes, oil change and a used car evaluation. Chris is friendly and explains everything; a wonderful change from past experiences. They are quick and thorough. Will be taking another of our vehicles in for service next week. No hesitation in giving them a 5 star rating.

Thank you so much for your review of our facility on Google. It was a pleasure working with you, I look forward to your future business.
